Who We Are

The San Francisco Women’s Housing Coalition (WHC) is a coalition of women-serving organizations representing a wide range of issues, including homelessness, domestic violence, trafficking, and justice-involved women. Our members are united in their commitment to supporting the most vulnerable women in San Francisco, and we collaborate to push for systemic changes that provide women with the resources they need to build safe, stable futures. 

Our Mission

The San Francisco Women’s Housing Coalition’s (WHC) mission is to establish a city priority for safe housing opportunities for all in San Francisco.

We advocate for city policies and resources that meet the needs of unhoused women, including survivors of domestic violence, sexual exploitation, trafficking, and justice-involved women. We work to ensure that public policy and city services reflect the worth and dignity of women and align with the values of WHC and the community of San Francisco.

Our Values
